First Presbyterian Church of Statesville is seeking a part-time Youth Minister to work with the youth of our church for the 2014 – 2015 school year. Candidates should have a background and experience in Christian Education, and possess an engaging and energetic personality.

Responsibilities and duties related to this ministry will include : 

  • Service as a youth advisor
  • Leading the weekly youth events
  • Coordinating the activities of adult youth advisor volunteers
  • Program planning and curriculum (Sunday School, weekly youth activities, mission trips, etc.)
  • Planning and promotion of camps, retreats, and conferences for youth
  • Communicate with parents and the church body through social media, the FPC website, the church newsletter, and other media.
