Our commitment to you begins before day one.

The Wake Div Experience outlines four pillars that we are committed to providing each student during their theological education journey.

The Wake Div Experience was cultivated with you in mind. We look forward to walking alongside you and seeing you develop into the faith leader that’s equipped to achieve your goals and transform the world.

Continuum of Support Services

Creates ease in navigating each stage of the divinity school experience and builds an intentional and robust network of support

We are committed to providing students with a continuum of support services. From the moment you engage in the exploration and admissions process through your time as a student and even once you enter alumni status, we are here to provide you with the support needed to successfully navigate each stage. This support system includes admissions, student services, faculty and administration — all working to create the space you need to explore and grow.

Cross-engagement Opportunities

Expands access to theological thought-leaders, diverse faith perspectives, and religious scholars, that speak to the social challenges of our time

We have intentionally structured opportunities for cross-engagement no matter if you are a prospective student, current student, or alum. The Wake Div Experience unlocks theological thought-leaders, diverse faith perspectives, and religious scholars to broaden your understanding of and ability to address the social challenges of our time.

Creative Co-curricular Programming

Prepares students to lead with awareness and agility in response to the complexities and realities of ministry

We have purposefully integrated extensive co-curricular programming to prepare students for the challenges of 21st-century ministry, both traditional congregational leadership roles and roles outside of the church. These co-curricular offerings help prepare students to lead with awareness and agility in response to the complexities and realities of ministry.

Collaborative Campus and Community Partners

Connects students to our community beyond Wake Divinity

We exist as part of a wider network of resources and relationships. We support the practice of collaboration across the university, with ministry organizations, initiatives, and local and national faith groups. Beyond the walls of the School of Divinity, students increase their capacity to impact their communities and the world.
