Marcus Hawley Square

Marcus Hawley is the Program Administrator for the Gilead COMPASS Faith Coordinating Center at Wake Forest University’s School of Divinity. He has worked as a public health social/behavioral researcher for 10+ years working within community engagement and outreach. He has a passion for promoting faith and social justice, especially in HIV/AIDS. He is a true community advocate that has helped cofound several organizations that build community and connection.

He is the co-founder of Digital LinCS, an online case management system that matches and connects people to free and reduced-cost medication. He currently serves as the 1st Vice President of the Durham/Chapel Hill Chapter of the  National Hampton University Alumni Association and serves on the board for the Durham Cultural Advisory Board Commission for the City of Durham. He is an avid runner, fitness enthusiast, and self-care proponent. Marcus received his BA in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Hampton University.
