The Wake Forest University School of Divinity is committed to courses of study that cultivate new voices alongside a rich theological heritage. Our innovative curriculum explores practices suited to vocations in a variety of changing ministry contexts. The Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, and dual degrees in Law, Education, Counseling, Bioethics and Sustainability educate ministers and practitioners who are theologically knowledgeable, pastorally skilled, and lovingly committed to all of humanity and our common home.
Master of Arts in Religion
(MAR)
A focused, 10-month immersive degree designed for those discerning their next step.
The MAR is ideal for students who want serious theological engagement with a concentrated timeline. Some pursue further graduate study. Others move into nonprofit leadership, policy work, education, chaplaincy pathways, or community-based initiatives.
