Wake Forest University School of Divinity Appoints Dan Culpepper as Director of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations
Winston-Salem, N.C. — Wake Forest University School of Divinity is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Culpepper as its new Director of Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations.
Culpepper brings more than a decade of experience leading strategic communications and brand development across the corporate and tech industries.

He has built and grown brands, developed high-impact products and services, and delivered measurable outcomes that have driven strong revenue performance. His expertise in aligning storytelling with strategic goals brings a fresh perspective to the School of Divinity’s mission and expanding public voice.
“Dan brings a visionary approach and a collaborative energy that aligns perfectly with our commitment to innovation and excellence,” said Dean of Wake Forest University School of Divinity and Wake Forest Professor of the Humanities Corey D. B. Walker. “We are confident that his leadership will help strengthen our brand identity, enhance engagement with prospective and enrolled students, and expand our reach across diverse communities.”
In his role, Culpepper will lead the School’s communications and marketing strategy, oversee media and public relations, manage digital and print publications, and guide branding initiatives that support enrollment, student engagement, alumni relations, and institutional advancement.

Culpepper previously served in the technology sector as Director of Design where he played a pivotal role in the development of new, market-disrupting technologies.
