Congratulations Class of 2021

The Wake Forest School of Divinity looks forward to celebrating your accomplishments. The faculty, staff, and administration of Wake Forest University School of Divinity offers our deepest congratulations to the members of the Class of 2021. Each paper submitted, course completed, and requirement fulfilled was a communal endeavor, made possible by the prayers, support, and sacrifices of parents, partners, children, and communities of faith. We invite the Class of 2021, family and friends to join us in the following celebrations of this culminating moment.

Degree Conferring

This year the  Degree Conferring Ceremony will take place during the Hooding Ceremony. Graduates will not attend the undergraduate ceremony.

Hooding Ceremony

Commencement and the Hooding Ceremony will take place at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum on May 16, 2021 at 7 pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, each graduate is allowed to bring two guests. Children two and under do not need a ticket to enter if sitting on a lap of an adult; if their own seat is needed a ticket would be required. Graduates will receive information about ordering tickets by April 15th. Captioned livestreams of all commencement events will be available at
