The Food, Faith, and Religious Leadership Initiative continues its effort in responding to the local problem of hunger in Forsyth County, North Carolina, which was named as the worst area in the country for food accessibility by the Food Research and Action Center. In a recent editorial in the Winston-Salem Journal, the initiative is given gratitude for its intent to help families of Winston-Salem and the surrounding region put food on the table, while also forming religious leaders interested in issues of sustainability.
