Re-engineering a Rural Church’s Traditions

Mark Reece (MDiv ’08), pastor of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Mt. Airy, NC, was recently featured in an article by The Religious Herald about what he believes is a thinning of the stereotypes between rural and urban churches. “With the rise of social media and … the Internet, rural ministry doesn’t look very different from urban ministry.
