Center for Urban Ministry
The Center for Urban Ministry, Inc. produces national ecumenical conferences responding to the need for renewal and training of clergy and lay leadership in urban churches in America. The Center also offers consulting for urban based parishes throughout the United States. The most noted conference: "The City of God for American Cities: Reinventing the Urban Church" is next scheduled for June, 2008 at the College of Preachers housed at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

The Rev. Dr. Douglass M. Bailey, is the founder and President of the Center for Urban Ministry, Inc. He is an Associate Professor of Urban Ministry at the School of Divinity, teaching courses on "Radical Jesus, Radical Justice,"; Urban Ministry Immersion/NYC; congregational development, and urban evangelism.
