Spoken Word Workshop
“Spoken Word” is a workshop part of the new Project Chapel series and features guest “spoken word” artist and biblical scholar, Valerie Bridgeman, and an ensemble of local jazz musicians, including Matt Kendrick from the University Department of Music and Justin Tillman, a local jazz trumpeter. Bridgeman joins the School of Divinity as a guest from Lancaster Theological Seminary where she is Associate Professor of Bible, Homiletics, and Worship. Bridgeman and Kendrick will lead a “spoken word” workshop on Thursday evening at 8:00pm in Wingate 302. The public is invited to the worship event and the workshop.
