Pathways in Ministry: Nurturing the Spiritual Life11:00am - 12:20pmWingate 201
The demands of time, energy, and focus in theological education and ministry are great. How do we nurture our spiritual lives to keep us grounded in the love of God and help us continue to listen for where we are being called in life and ministry? These are questions we will explore together through conversation and spiritual practices at our first Pathways in Ministry workshop of the year. Our leader will be Joanna Walsh, a member of the Faithful Companions of Jesus order. Sister Joanna has served as a campus minister at Duke University, the co-leader of the “Pastor as Spiritual Guide” program, and the founder of a spiritual direction formation program in Durham, NC.
About Pathways in Ministry
Pathways in Ministry is an initiative of the School of Divinity that provides workshops and panel discussions for students to be exposed to the many paths of engaging in professional ministry, to build skills to aid their search for ministry placement, and to prepare for the demands of ministry by learning important personal, professional, and spiritual practices.
