Pathways in Ministry: Career Day & Internship Fair

On Wednesday, February 18, 2015, we will be hosting Career Day and an Internship Fair, and all students are invited to meet and network with employers, denominational leaders, and representatives from various ministry related careers. Career Day will take place from 11:00am – 12:20pm in the Lower Auditorium with a light lunch will be provided to those who register. We will have representatives from a variety of organizations and career fields . If you are interested in attending Career Day, please RSVP to Nic Williams by Monday, February 16, so we can lunch available for everyone.

Mock Interviews | The Office of Leadership Development is offering an opportunity for students to participate in mock interviews in order to practice their interview skills and receive helpful feedback from interviewers. These mock interviews will be led by community leaders in conjunction with the Career & Internship Fair on Wednesday, February 18, 9:30-11:00am and 12:30-2:00pm in Wingate Hall.

If you are interested in participating in a mock interview, please email Nic Williams, with your name, your resume, the time you are available for an interview, and a brief description of the the job and setting for which you would like to interview (e.g. youth minister in a church, chaplain in a hospital, executive director of a non-profit, etc.), no later than Wednesday, February 11.

Pathways in Ministry is an initiative of the School of Divinity that provides workshops and panel discussions for students to be exposed to the many paths of engaging in professional ministry, to build skills to aid their search for ministry placement, and to prepare for the demands of ministry by learning important personal, professional, and spiritual practices.
