Pathways in Ministry: Career Day & Internship Fair

Description

On Wednesday, March 5, 2014, we will be hosting our first Career Day, and all students are invited to meet and network with employers, denominational leaders, and representatives from various ministry related careers. Career Day will take place from 10:30-12:30 in the Lower Auditorium with a light lunch will be provided to those who register. We will have representatives form organizations and career fields such as: NC Center for Non-Profits, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Hospital Chaplaincy, Wake Forest Chaplain’s Office, Crisis Control, Equality NC, Greensboro Urban Ministries, National Baptist Convention, Episcopal Church, PhD programs, Apostolic church tradition, Community Colleges, Spiritual Direction, International Missions, WFU Human Resources, Clarksville Baptist Church, and Pastoral Counseling. If you are interested in attending Career Day, please RSVP to Nic Williams by Monday, March 3, so we can lunch available for everyone.

Mock Interviews | That same day, our visitors will also be providing the opportunity for students to engage in a mock interview, to better prepare for getting an internship and job after graduation. If you are interested in attending the Internship & Career Fair and/or scheduling a mock interview, please RSVP to Nic Williams by Monday, February 16.

 

About Pathways in Ministry

Pathways in Ministry is an initiative of the School of Divinity that provides workshops and panel discussions for students to be exposed to the many paths of engaging in professional ministry, to build skills to aid their search for ministry placement, and to prepare for the demands of ministry by learning important personal, professional, and spiritual practices.
