An Evening with Nadia Bolz-Weber7:00pm - 8:30pmWait Chapel
Nadia Bolz-Weber is a Lutheran minister who founded and is the pastor at the House for All Sinners and Saints, a mission congregation in Denver, Colorado. Her lecture will be centered around her latest book, Pastrix: the Cranky, Beautiful Life of a Sinner & Saint - now a New York Times Bestseller.
Some descriptors of her book include:
“Outrageous, rich, and remarkable, Pastrix turns spiritual memoir on its ear in this sardonically irreverent
and beautifully honest page-turner.”
“Nadia uses stunning narrative and poignant honesty to portray a woman who is both deeply faithful and deeply flawed, giving hope to the rest of us along the way.”

About Nadia Bolz-Weber
Rev. Nadia Bolz-Weber is the founding pastor of House for All Sinners and Saints in Denver, Colorado. She is the author of Salvation on the Small Screen? 24 Hours of Christian Television (Seabury, 2008) and blogs at www.sarcasticlutheran.com and Jim Wallis’ www.Godspolitics.com. Her writings can be found in the Christian Century, The Lutheran Magazine and Patheos.com. She may be a leading voice in the Emerging Church but nobody really believes she’s an ordained pastor in the ELCA. Maybe it’s the sleeve tattoos or the fact that she swears like a truck driver. Either way…she’s fine with it. Nadia lives in Denver with her family of 4 where she can be found writing bios in the third person and chasing chickens around the back yard with her kids.
