Copeland is currently completing his Doctor of Ministry dissertation entitled: Exploring Effects of the Intersection of the Enneagram and Spiritual Practices upon the Spiritual Lives of Divinity Students. His scholarly interests include the intersection of the Enneagram and spiritual practices and the role of spirituality in the formation of healthy, faithful, religious leaders. Copeland teaches in the area of spirituality with a particular focus on prayer and discernment for individuals and communities. He is a certified spiritual director, teacher of the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition, labyrinth facilitator, and InterPlay leader.
